Introducing Our Team

Sheri graduated from Jacksonville Christian Academy 1998 and started working at Erwin in 2000.

With around 20 years experience in the industry and with Erwin, Sheri has developed a loyal base of customers and extensive base of knowledge on a broad range of insurance concepts and products.  She is particularly well known for her ability to find solutions for “hard to place” risks, with a large part of those skills being attributable to persistence. In fact, she is so well known for these skills that other insurance agencies contact her to help when they run out of options themselves.

“One of my favorite things about insurance is how dynamic it is.  The policies are kind of standardized – although there are many exceptions to that rule – but how they apply to each individual’s situation vary, and the underwriting guidelines, appetites, and rates are in constant motion.  Hardly a day goes by where we don’t learn something new. While it’s a challenge, it’s never boring!”

Sheri is an avid book reader.  So avid that it is rare not to see her either reading insurance policies and quotes during business hours or a book during breaks, lunches, and other down time.  Her reading skills have taken her straight through a professional program with The Hartford School of Insurance and into a Personal Lines Coverage Specialist designation.
